Andraos Bros Chardonnay is made from Chardonnay grapes grown at the historic Winilba Vineyard in Sunbury, Victoria.
Andraos Bros Chardonnay is matured in small oak barrels for 18 months.
The 2000 Andraos Bros Chardonnay has a great developed bright golden colour.
The nose displays honey, candied orange, essence with brilliant concentration of fruit oils.
It has a super complex nose.
This buttery white wine displays honey dew melon and grapefruit characteristics with subtle vanillin oak undertones.
The palate is intense with a developed character.
It has lovely softness and still time to go. Oak is present but integrated well. It has medium length and raising flavour.

"Medium straw colored, 2000 Olde Winilba Chardonnay gives notes of dried apricots, butterscotch, pineapple paste, honeyed toast, fresh hay and hazelnuts.
Medium bodied with a silken texture and crisp acidity, it offers a good amount of dried stone fruit and nutty flavors, finishing long and layered.
Mature now, it should continue to cellar to 2015."
